Reservation Policies

Rates Include: All rates include a full breakfast served in our dining room from approx. 8:00 to 10:00 am.  Early coffee is served around 7:30.  In the late afternoon, wine & homemade chocolate chip cookies are served in the parlor.  Please inform us of any special dietary needs.

Times: Check-in time is 3:00 pm or anytime after.  Check-out is 11:00 am. Travelers arriving earlier than check-in, or staying in town after check-out, are welcome to leave their luggage in our parlor.

Minimum Stay: A 2-night stay is required through the Festival of Lights season and for scheduled Natchitoches events throughout the year.   Please contact us to inquire about a specific date of interest.

Occupancy: All rooms are double occupancy maximum.   The Azalea/Camellia Suite sleeps a maximum of six.

Children: Sweet Cane Inn is an Adult Destination.  Children over the age of 14 are welcome (double occupancy standards still apply.)

Cancellation Policy:  A $50 non refundable fee will be charged for each and every cancelation.

Full payment is due unless we are notified 10 days in advance of your scheduled reservation date consecutively per room booked. Any person making a reservation with an arrival date less than 10 days from the date reservation is made; understands and assumes total responsibility for all charges in the event their reservation is cancelled, and we are unable to re-book the room.

Pets: Sweet Cane Inn is a NO PET facility.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all areas and rooms within Sweet Cane Inn, as well as on the front porch.  Guests may smoke only on the back patio area. Candles are also prohibited in guest rooms and on decks. (A $250 charge will be assessed for smoking in a guest room. We reserve the right to assess additional charges for cleaning/repair/replacement costs from smoking or candles.)
